Overview AI Gaming DeveloperBased in London, our client is renowned for their continuing advancements in online technologies that have changed the world.
An ambitious, fast paced forward thinking company with very creative culture.
Our client is currently conducting all interviews online and are onboarding all new workers remotely.
They require an AI Gaming Developer with expert knowledge of game engine development, preferably for ‘grid-world’ games.
Initially on a 3-month contract, the successful candidate will embed deeply with researchers in our client’s AI research team to develop and debug reinforcement learning environments.
Job Reference: BBBH 18682What will an AI Gaming Developer do? Create highly scalable game engine code in C/C++ and Python.
Work with internal AI Research Scientists to facilitate research that enables learning in sequential decision-making problems.
Apply knowledge of relevant domains along with expert coding skills to platform and framework development projects.
Adapt machine learning and neural network algorithms and architectures to best exploit modern parallel environments (e.
distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU).
What does the Ideal Candidate look like? Expert knowledge of game engine development, preferably for ‘grid-world’ games.
1+ years of experience with C/ C++ on POSIX systems, including threads, context switching, dynamic libraries (dlopen, dlmopen).
