Astellas EMEA Business Services provide integrated business services to EMEA affiliates, EHQ and other functional departments.
The Accounting and Controlling Services within EMEA Business Services support the Finance Controllers in these business units in accounting, controlling and reporting activities.
The Accounting and Controlling Services form a bridge between the third party business service providers and the Finance Controllers, ensuring seamless operations of these services by providing support to both sides to meet requirements.
In addition to the operational tasks the Accounting and Controlling Services are also responsible for maintaining and improving the processes and practices, ensuring standardisation, developing their methods and techniques to establish best practice and to disseminate this knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:·Support month-end close and preparation of associated reporting·Provide support for P2P, O2C, R2R processes, payment activities·Ensure business process controls are effective and evidenced·Support audit activity·Support Senior Accountant in ensuring finance Master Data accuracy and integrity·Support in the provision of sales reporting·Ensure adherence to Astellas policies relating to Ethics and Compliance standards·Ensure adherence to Astellas policies relating to Finance Controls and Compliance standards·Looking at key·Work together with the EMEA Business Change Network to implement changes, support the Finance Controllers/Affiliates·Monitoring Finance Master Data and ensuring there Is Data integrity.
·Work with the Senior Accountant to ensure that the transactions are correctly processed by the BPO and reviewing process, any task related to BPOExperienced Required;·Some experience of end-to-end processes including working with Finance functions·Qualified or training accountant (e.
CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with experience of Finance in complex and/or multinational environments·Some commercial awareness·Evidence of working to tight deadlines·Knowledge of international accounting standards and SOX·Compliance mindset for adherence to policy e.
