 Overview Provide general administrative support to the customer service team to achieve their objectives and meet the daily operational needs of the department.
 DetailsAnswer incoming calls to the office and forward to the relevant personGeneral office duties such as visitor receptionCreate and update orders and delivery requests in accordance with the Company’s proceduresCheck manufacturer acknowledgements and monitor timely receiptDevelop and maintain good and effective working relationships between customers, suppliers and Taylor Maxwell colleaguesSupport the sales teams in their objectivesMonitor and process all supplier dispatch reportsEnsure prompt action of queries received from customers, suppliers, and Taylor Maxwell colleaguesProvide absence cover for Customer Service Coordinators in line with all Company proceduresAny other duty deemed by the Directors to be in the interest of the team in achieving its objectives  Personal description Essential Well-developed telephone call handling skillsMust be able to communicate effectively and be polite but assertive when required in difficult situationsMust show evidence of being organised and responding promptlyAbility to listen properly and to be patient when requiredAble to work under pressure and make correct decisionsGood skills in Word and general Windows environmentEvidence of building relationships with customers or suppliersMust reside within commutable distance of the officeDesirable Relevant experience of customer service and administrationKnowledge of the construction industryBenefits – Competitive salaryOffice Car Parking25 days’ holiday, increasing with years of serviceAnnual company bonus schemePension schemeLife insuranceCycle to work schemeEmployee Assistant Programme (EAP)Annual leave purchase scheme  Please click to apply or send your CV to careers@taylor.
