About usNFU Mutual's Sturminster Newton agency has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Support Advisor on a permanent contract.
As a Customer Support Adviser within our growing team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, contributing to the smooth running of the office and ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do.
Providing exceptional customer service, you will handle enquiries, provide insurance quotations and undertake insurance transactions and general sales tasks with a ‘can-do’ proactive attitude.
You will also maximise inbound sales opportunities, cross selling to existing clients and assisting with renewal retention by using your excellent telephone manner to make the most of every call.

Duties include:•Review and advise upon customer general insurance requirements•Process all customer instructions for policy amendments to meet required completion standards•Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities and activities to new and existing customers•Acquire and maintain knowledge of NFU Mutual General Insurance products, as applicable to product licences•Obtain appointments for our Financial Advisor, to contribute towards the Agency target•Working within Compliance Framework required by the Company / Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)•Use of Microsoft Word & Excel as a minimum•Develop and sustain effective working relationships with customers, all members of agency and NFU Mutual staff•Comply with all applicable sections of the NFU Mutual insurance compliance manual for the agency network, the agency guide and local agency procedures•Maintain record keeping requirements for your role•Produce correspondence to required time frames and quality standards•Perform other duties as assigned by Management Team•Be prompt, reliable and trustworthy•Introduce our Risk Management Services and understand the importance of it Required skills:•Be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal•Possess good IT Skills (particularly Outlook, Word & Excel)•Be able to demonstrate problem solving skills and use your own judgement•Have a flexible and open attitude•Proven sales and customer service experience•Be highly organised and able to work to deadlines Closing Date: 31/07/2020This position is based in our Sturminster Newton office.
Working week: Monday – Friday 9.
00am - 5pmSalary – Negotiable depending on experience.
Qualifications required:Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C or above (Grade 4 or above)Please clearly state all individual qualifications on your application.
