We’re looking for a driven Digital Marketing Executive to work for a growing and ambitious tech business based in Darlington.
Whilst this role can be based from home, it will be important for you to have flexibility as travelling to events and company offices will be a key part of the role.
You will also be required to work from the Darlington office during your onboarding process in the first 6 weeks.
They are a growing company working in the Cyber Security sector and they have a great reputation for developing talent within the IT community.
They are expanding their marketing team so are looking for a bright spark who has both business and digital marketing experience coupled with the desire to progress to the next level of their career and beyond.
This role will work with the Marketing & Events Manager and the Marketing Executive to ensure that all marketing initiatives are delivered according to the agreed marketing plans.
Responsibilities * Developing digital marketing strategies to drive incoming leads via the company’s website and social media platforms as part of the marketing strategy.
* Building and enhancing relationships with external suppliers, including SEO consultants and copywriters.
* Taking a proactive approach to managing their digital platforms, actively seeking, creating and repurposing content.
* Monitoring progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance against targets / KPIs.
* Monitoring of brand mentions and potential opportunities across social and online media * Management of new website and content creation.
* Delivery of all marketing campaigns in alignment with the agreed marketing plans.
* Maintain relationships with all partners to ensure collaboration on campaigns.
* Responsible for tactical campaigns with the sales team.
* Attending company-wide and marketing events as needed.
* Demonstrating excellent copywriting and communication skills for different marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc.
)Skills & Experience * 2 - 3 years of relevant experience * Extensive experience in copywriting * Knowledge of cyber preferred but not essential * Excellent communication and time-management skills * Experience with WordPress and Salesforce preferred * Proficient in the use of Google Analytics, GoogleAds/PPC, sponsored posts & social media ads * Proof of generating opportunities and revenue * Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and IllustratorEducationMarketing or Business graduate with a 2:1 or higher and at least 2 years’ experience in a business-to-business role.
