Job Description Job Purpose: The director of US Marketing leads the development and execution of marketing strategies and plans to drive the influenza vaccine portfolio across all key channels.
The Director of US Marketing e nsures cross-functional alignment on the US commercial strategy and execution with all US key stakeholders including sales, customer experience, customer operations, market access, medical affairs, policy, communications, regulatory, legal and compliance.
Strong partnership and collaboration with sales and customer experience leadership is necessary.
This role has line management responsibilities for leading the US marketing team, including the development recruitment and retention of a high-performing team.
Major Responsibilities:   Focus on strategic, tactical and operational plans with short-to mid-term focus for all segments of the US market Understand market dynamics with ability to monitor portfolio, brand performance and competitive atmosphere to rapidly identify changes needed to strategic direction.
Responsible for development and implementation of marketing strategy and plans for existing and new products within the influenza vaccine portfolio Owns and drives the strategic planning process for the US business Drives agency partners to plan, develop, implement and measure tactics are consistent with brand strategy and bold promise Oversees the design and execution of marketing tactics, approval through appropriate copy-clearance committees and ensure compliance Participates and leads in key US commercial projects and global projects as needed Disseminates product experience and product strategy to commercial operations and other functional stakeholders (communications, policy, medical, MCC reviewers)     Minimum Qualifications:     Bachelors' degree in business/marketing, life sciences or healthcare discipline MBA or other graduate degree preferred 10+ years marketing / sales / commercial experience in pharmaceutical/ biotech or relevant industry Vaccines experience preferred, but not required Experience in launching new and growing established products Experience leading and managing teams and cross functional matrixed internal partnerships
