***Head of front office support - Contract to Perm - London*** Head of front office support Initial 6 Month Contract that will go Permanent London/Remote This will a great opportunity for someone looking for a permanent role as the successful candidate must be willing to go permanent after an initial 5/6 months.
The Client Our client has been serving the households, businesses and communities of Britain for over 250 years.
They offer a comprehensive range of financial products and services - including current accounts, savings, mortgages, loans and credit cards.
Responsibilities This person will look after all of Front Office FICC support Most of the applications in sales and trading are run by the bank but then there are a few others that are directly managed by their outsource partner (this person will oversee the management of both) There is the day to day support so fix and fail, procedural, audit and testing requirements, however they want to bring more automation into what they're doing so this person will help to drive this Working with development heads to look at writing code that's more supportable, rather than just getting stuff that's thrown over the fence This person will sit above the existing support leads they have, looking at how to support Sales and Trading as they build out the lines of business /Someone who is able to understand architecture, suggest ideas and work with the development side proactively They are also starting to support NY & Singapore more so whilst they don't have support or IT teams there is a global client base using the systems Essential Skills and Experience Key is someone who is used to facing off and partnering with FO stakeholders, able to look at how they should be managing themselves and supporting FO Experience working in an electronic trading environment is a must Someone who can bring discipline around support functions They are aiming for more of a DevOps environment and they've just moved QA under the Dev functions so they are committed to changing this now with their re-org As an environment it's not very automated now and there isn't much test automation in place so they want this person to help move them in that direction, able to review and take procedure and look at how they can automate these, looking service availability, DevOps tooling etc TO APPLY - PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL WITH AN UP TO DATE CV Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.
