What you'll do Stock control and ordering for Head Office and Regions – Ensure stockroom has the required amount of stock and order replacement stock as needed.
Maintain a list of standard items and liaise with suppliers as requiredTracking loan stock – Ensure any loan items are returned on timeAdding new equipment to asset management database – Ensure that all new PCs and laptops are entered into the Asset Management systemResponsible for the removal of retired equipmentResponsible for checking invoices and deliveries against purchase ordersIT Ticket dispatch – Assign tickets to individuals and teams where appropriateNew Starters – Ensure that the relevant equipment for new starters is available and that the Service Desk has prepared them in time for the New Starter welcome eventsLeavers – Ensure that all leaver equipment is returned in a timely mannerGenerating reports and uploading articles in database - Preparing reports, overviews and executive summaries and consolidating documentsAssist with various small and medium projects, organising tasks and keeping track of project timelines as requiredAlthough this role is based in Head Office, some travel may be required to Warehouses and Stores throughout the UK What you'll need Appreciation and basic understanding of IT equipment and languageStrong Administration skillsGood planning and numeracy skillsExcellent communication skillsA methodical approach to workGood communication skillsGood attention to detailProficient in MS Office/ExcelWillingness to work to improve existing processes and suggest and implement new onesGerman knowledge is preferred, but not essential What you'll receive This isn't getting by.
