99/hour as payment for annual leave)Hours: 19:00-21:00pm on ThursdaysWe are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Sessional Photography Lecturer to join our Art, Design and Media department teaching on our Adult Community Learning provision.
In this hourly paid lecturing post you will be delivering evening teaching sessions on Photography to our adult students.
Working closely with management and the rest of the Reigate School or Art team, this rewarding post will give you the chance to share your knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College.
As part of your role you will plan, prepare and deliver high quality sessions to adult learners, and take part in the lesson observation process, whilst also ensuring clear communication is upheld and that you are fully compliant with departmental requests.
You will act as a personal tutor for adult students, ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment by observing safeguarding responsibilities, promote attendance and embed Equality and Diversity at all times.
The successful candidate must have: * A teaching qualification * A Photography qualification at Level 3 (or above) * Experience teaching adult students * Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Light rooms, studio and lighting equipment and dark room facilitiesPLEASE NOTE: Following current Government COVID-19 guidance the majority of our staff are working remotely and not on the College campus.
It is therefore highly desirable that candidates have experience of working from home and using remote learning platforms to deliver online learning to students (e.
g.
Microsoft Teams or Zoom) in order to successfully carry out their role.
Alternatively it is essential that they can demonstrate the capability to adapt to this and pick up the required Technological knowledge very quickly.
