As a Landscape Technician Apprentice within Arup, you will be working alongside an unrivalled community of experts, who will support and nurture your growth from the outset.
In return, you'll help us designing spaces in both natural and built environments across a wide range of sectors for varied clients.
While Apprentices are given responsibility from day one, we'll give you the opportunity to learn, progress and broaden your skills and develop as a landscape architect.
The Arup portfolio is exciting and diverse, exposing our Apprentices to a range of project scales and types, each offering their own opportunity for personal development.
With the primary responsibility to support your senior team, your typical day-to-day responsibilities could include;Preparation of drawings, documents, graphics and illustrations for landscape schemesUsing Computer-Aided Design (CAD), 3D modelling, other drafting software packages, and traditional hand drawing methodsSite surveys and site investigationsContributing to planning applications and other regulatory proceduresPreparation of detailed specifications for hard and soft landscape materialsAbout youWe're looking for Apprentices with passion for design, curiosity and personal drive.
If you can combine these skills with an understanding of (or willingness to learn about) the landscape architecture industry and a desire to deliver excellent services for clients, we'd like to hear from you.
We're looking for the following qualifications, attributes and skills.
You will need at least one of the following:Successful completion of a Level 2 apprenticeship in a relevant discipline ORFive GCSEs, including English and Maths, which are equivalent to GCSE grade 4 and above (C and above)What will we offer in return?
