The induction programme is for all new staff and the length is dependent on the role you will be undertaking. It is an essential part of new staff training requirements and therefore attendance is mandatory.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Estates and Facilities team at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for an individual who will further develop, modernise and improve the Estates and Facilities and Safety Services into a ‘best in class’ service. You will need to have excellent leadership and management skills together with a relevant technical qualification at post graduate study level in order to further develop these key services.

You will be directly responsible for the budget, governance and management for the following:

  • Estates and Property Maintenance
  • Facilities Management / Statutory Compliance
  • Strategy Development
  • Health and Safety & Security Services

The Trust is looking for a ‘can do’ person who thrives in an environment of innovation, change management, cost improvement, new ways of working and ideas, motivating staff and has a constant focus on improving the patient experience.

Initially you will have six key result areas:

  • To have made an effective contribution to reaching the Trust’s vision, strategic objectives and key work programmes.
  • To improve the patient and staff experience
  • To report and demonstrate a safe service is being delivered
  • To demonstrate continuous service improvement and modernisation of service delivery and structure.
  • To plan and deliver agreed cost improvements.
  • To plan and deliver a the Trusts capital plan
