HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week, 8.00am to 4.00pm, term-time only with one additional week to be worked in non-term time.

We are looking to appoint a strong candidate to the post of Behaviour Co-ordinator to work within our reflective behaviour room, known as ‘The Gateway’.

As the schools Behaviour Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for receiving students who have been unable to meet classroom expectations of work ethic and behaviour. You will be highly skilled in de-escalation techniques, show high levels of empathy and be able to quickly develop positive relationships. The aim will always be to get students back into the classroom as soon as possible with new coping strategies.

You will be expected to work strategically with the Assistant Head Teacher with recording, tracking and analysing patterns of behaviour, producing reports to support the Pastoral Team.

Starting salary: two point salary range starting at Grade 7 Point 18 on the Gildredge House Support Staff Scale 2019-2020: £17374.00 pa pro rata (£20,590 FTE) rising to Grade 7 Point 19: £17824.00 pa pro rata (£21,123 FTE) subject to successful performance management, in the following year of appointment.

You would be required to work 44 weeks per year (includes 38.4 weeks of term-time including 1 week of INSET and an additional week per year to be worked during school holiday. Holiday entitlement: 5.56 weeks’ paid holiday/bank holidays).
