Stok K9 Security Services, a leading professional security services company specialised in dog handling and manned guarding. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to generate new business opportunities to grow our portfolio of clients across the South East. The role will cover London as well as the Home Counties and will include National contracts (on invitation only). The role is remote / work from home due to the clients we cover being based in the SE England would be preferred. This role will be on an initial 3 month probationary period.

What are we asking for?

  • Strong track record in Manned Guarding sales (and wide business acumen).
  • Building a database of current users of their services by regular prospecting.
  • Ability to cost opportunities identified and ability to close.
  • Persuasive and credible with ability to sell concepts and ideas by gaining commitment.
  • Ability to quickly develop rapport but can overcome barriers to win business.
  • Demonstrates the ability to forge and maintain relationships over the telephone and face to face.
  • Organisational and time management skills with ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Must hold a valid full UK driving license.
  • Focuses on results and aims to deliver extraordinary performance responsibilities.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within new clients and execute strategy.
  • Generate growth by keen networking and cold calling to identified clients.
  • Consultative selling of a range of services: mainly dog handling, static manned guarding and security systems.
  • Achieving financial sales targets across both new and existing clients.
  • Lead and/or support in the negotiation or re-negotiation of all sales opportunities.
  • Retain strong understanding of current operation, competitor position and market trends.
  • Attend relevant trade events and actively pursue networking opportunities within the sector.
  • Develop and convert a sales pipeline that ensures personal sales targets are met.
  • Attending tender site visits, client meetings and submission interviews, preparing and delivering presentations, submitting PQQs, bid writing and completing tender documents to prospective clients.
  • Ensure that CRM is kept up to date with all activities.
  • Provide information of sales and deliver regular feedback on the market and sales to the Director.

Job Type: Full-time, Contract UK Home Based

  • Basic salary £22,000 - £30,000 per annum + commission (OTE GBP60k)

Please note - as this is a role in the security industry, you will be screened to BS: 7858 and will require a current SIA licence.
