Grace Human Resources — Belfast Northern IrelandCare Administrator (Office & Field Role)Due to growth and exceptional service, Grace Human Resources is looking to recruit a caring kind and compassionate person to help our service users to continue living within their home by providing support and care needed.
This is both an office role and a domiciliary care role combined with on call duties.
We are looking to recruit an extremely efficient administrator who is great with word and excel packages but also able to get hands on with providing personal care to service users within their own homes.
The role requires someone who is flexible to cover throughout the week and to help cover some weekends.
There is an on call system which will be part of the role and daily rota's.
This role requires someone who has previous hands on experience as a Carer but wants to now work in the office.
We are ideally looking for someone who has experience in working in a busy office environment, ideally as a Care Administrator, Care Coordinator or Field Care Supervisor within the domiciliary and Nursing care sector.
To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent customer service skills and have a positive attitude towards working in a closely knit Team and be someone who is able to be flexible in their approach to work.
This role may involve visiting customers from time to time but is mainly office based, as such we require applicants with a driving licence, has access to their own car and can effectively manage their own time.
For this role you will from time and in cases of emergency be required to deliver care to customers although this is not the main remit for this role and is more about the whole Team being prepared to put the customer first.
Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesCoordinate Carer schedules in advance and as required on a daily basis using an electronic rostering system (Training will be given on this)Coordinate and maintain monthly client schedulesAnswer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable mannerField new client enquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner, enter information into database and handover to the Registered ManagerDevelop and maintain relationships with both clients and CarersIdentify and report to the Registered Manager, areas of recruitment & retention neededEnter and maintain accurate client and Carer recordsProcess and mail initial service enquiry letters/brochuresCarry out audit checks on Carer paperworkBe available to cover calls if neededEnsuring that Carers are correctly using the electronic monitoring systemSupporting the Registered Manager in maintaining the training matrixParticipate in the out of hours “on call” rota equally across the TeamParticipate in other duties central to your role as directed by the Registered manager and the directors.
