Here at Digital First Retail (DFR) we live electronics. Ranging from but not limited to; Gaming, Audio Visual, STEM, Smart Home and Office Equipment. We own several household brands including Maplin & Office Outlet, which allows us to supply a wide range of consumer electronics to the public

  • You are a friendly and approachable person. This would be reflected in the way you communicate with customers
  • You enjoy investigating awkward problems, getting to the root cause and fixing them
  • Confident in basic use of Microsoft office packages

What's involved:

  • Answering customer queries across email, phone and live chat, including order status updates / etas & product queries
  • Arranging returns with the customers, acting as a point of contact between the customer and supplier
  • Authorising refunds where applicable
  • Testing returned goods
  • Providing own brand support
  • Liaising with couriers to resolve delivery issues
  • Working with the members of our customer service team to maintain a knowledge base to better serve our customers

Whether we're reviewing orders or assisting with a product query, it's about making the whole customer journey as seamless as it can be. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do.

What's next:

The application process will consist of a couple of on-site interviews and a short test. Typical working hours are 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm, but if you'd prefer to work part-time, we'll facilitate this wherever we can – whether to help you meet other commitments or to help you strike a great work-life balance. We're keen to ensure we're building a company that represents all types of thinkers.

Expected start date: 17/08/2020

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £18,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
