About Us:

Otis Jaxon is an online jewellery company specialising in sterling silver and semi-precious jewellery. The company started as a small market stall over 20 years ago and has grown into a small successful online retail and wholesale business, with a loyal worldwide customer base. You can find our designs in exciting and specially selected boutiques and galleries such as The Barbican and Royal Exchange.

We are looking for an eCommerce Savy customer service and order management assistant to join our small established online jewellery business!

Who we are looking for:

You will have a good grounding in customer service and sales, alongside excellent organisation skills – the ability to multi-task and think on your feet is a must! This role requires a can-do attitude, lots of positive energy and enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck into all aspects of running a small business!

You must have experience working with at least 1-2 of the following eCommerce platforms:

- notonthehighstreet

- Etsy

- Amazon

- Shopify

A passion for jewellery is a plus but not essential – the right candidate will have previous experience of the customer service/e-Commerce industry, and the passion, drive and enthusiasm to effectively run and grow our small established online business and get your hands dirty (sometimes literally!) when needed.

This is a high-energy role that requires outstanding multi-tasking, troubleshooting skills and attention to detail – you will be a proactive individual who loves dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s and ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Whilst this is a primarily customer service and order management based role, there is the opportunity to take on more creative tasks along-side your existing workload for the right candidate. This role would best suit females due to the need to model our jewellery for photography and social media purposes.

Your roles will include:

  • Customer service (from both a retail, wholesale and social media perspective)
  • Managing our online orders from various online platforms
  • Dealing with and processing customer returns
  • Managing social media activities and posts
  • Uploading new products and creating captivating product descriptions
  • Setting up and working trade and retail shows such as IJL, Top Drawer and Hampton Court Flower Show.
  • PA to the company Director
  • General office admin
  • Refiling and jewellery cleaning when required
  • Modelling jewellery for photography and social media campaigns

Local free parking, and online and telephone interviews available.

Salary up to £24,000 dependant on experience, but with a trial period of 1 month, paid at £10 p/h, which will increase after this period. Immediate start.

Job Type: Full or Part-time 4-5 days per week.

Salary: £19,500.00 to £24,000.00 /year
