Job Description :
CCleaner@Avast is the world’s most popular optimization tool, with over 2.5 billion downloads across 195 countries.
Available on PC, Mac and Android, we’re on a mission to make devices run faster and last longer, while protecting our users’ privacy and security.
CCleaner is one of several smaller businesses acquired by Avast in 2017.
We are looking for an ambitious eCommerce Executive to run our online store, execute campaigns and drive continuous improvement in our web and in-app carts.
You will be reporting to the Head of Monetization (Chase Richards), and working within the eCommerce team, a small but versatile group responsible for growing CCleaner’s consumer sales and hitting ambitious targets.
The team has delivered consistent mid-double-digit growth for several years and has a large pool of tools and resources to draw on.
You’ll need a good understanding of eCommerce, preferably within the subscription software industry or similar, a keen eye for detail and a sense of what turns a visitor into a customer.
Your job will be to put sales strategy and campaign plans into action by handling the web and in-app carts, product listings and pricing, and to suggest and test ways to improve the online checkout experience.
Creating and managing product listings in the eCommerce system (Cleverbridge)
Managing the relationship with Cleverbridge and guiding the work they do for us to improve our checkouts
Designing A/B tests in the cart, and finding ways to improve the performance of various different customer flows (initial purchase, renewals, upgrades, etc.)
Cooperation with UX team, graphic designers and web development team to implement improvements to the cart and website
Liaise with the Product team to help improve the in-app checkout and sales flows
Work closely with the web product manager and in-product messaging specialist to execute seasonal campaigns
Work with the data analysis team to ensure that cart tracking is kept up to date
1+ years’ experience working in a consumer-facing eCommerce environment, preferably managing a web store or cart
Experience designing, running and interpreting A/B tests
Basic understanding of UX design, conversion optimization and user interface design
Knowledge of subscription service purchasing behavior and customer drivers
Basic knowledge of HTML and the web development cycle (no coding is specifically required, but it always helps to know what you’re looking at)
We would want to see these qualities too!
Highly organized, and able to turn a manager’s vague email into a detailed plan and execute it
Experience working collaboratively online, with little to no physical presence in an office
Ability to work towards a strict campaign schedule and work backwards from a launch date to make sure all the pieces are in place when they need to be
Ambitious to build a career in eCommerce and online sales
Appreciate that sometimes the business needs the less exciting work to be done as well and thus able to cope with repetitive work/tasks in certain cases
What we offer:
Our team is a vibrant and eclectic mix of technology geeks, foodies, cyclists, gamers, bee-keepers musicians and hatmakers, and we are all passionate about the work that we do.
We’re also passionate about having a good work-life balance, making the office a fun and energizing place to be, and growing ourselves along with the business.
Perks include: All Avast employees are currently working from home until at least January 2021, so in lieu of our awesome office-based perks the company will provide you with a comfortable home office and any IT equipment/furniture required.
We also offer flexible working hours, extensive professional training and education options, and occasional spot giveaways of vouchers, etc.
Benefits include: Employee share matching scheme, competitive salary and bonus package, private healthcare plan, life assurance, bike-to-work scheme, professional development courses.
We look forward to hearing from you!
