Company description

Bantersaurus is a newly established division of a long standing and successful B2B Promotional Products Company, We Brand It. The brand was established to diversify into the personalised gift market. With in house print and production facilities we are looking for an experienced eCommerce marketplace and channel manager who can grow a team and establish the business through various online channels including Ebay and Amazon as well as developing direct sales through our website.

Job description

Reporting directly to the CEO the successful applicant will be experienced in all things B2C with a deep understanding and successful career of selling on Amazon & eBay, be fully proficient in using e-commerce systems and know how to build, run & manage standalone websites. People management is also key to building an outstanding team.

Job Role:

  • To manage sales and marketing activity through online marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, as well as developing direct website.
  • Identification and delivery of promotional opportunities for maximising and growing sales on the online marketplaces
  • Management of all advertising, content management, competitor analysis and conversion activity through all online marketplaces
  • Grow sales in line with business targets
  • Create and deliver key campaigns and an on-going promotional schedule to coordinate activity within agreed timescales and to budget
  • Ensure creative requirements are delivered on time
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing sales and proposing how best to take advantage of these
  • Manage promoted listings, highline search adverts and the shop front
  • Oversee the maintenance, quality and execution of product feeds to ensure listings and pricing are accurate and in line with company objectives
  • Drawing attention of any concerns
  • Investigate new marketplaces and make recommendations to management as to their adoption by the company
  • Consistently demonstrating and adhering to the brand values at all times
  • Monitoring trends on marketplaces and keeping watch on our competitors.
  • Managing pricing and promotions and ensuring prices, stock, imagery, and content is displayed properly
  • Reporting on marketplace performance by providing analysis and making recommendations on how to improve, including budget tracking
  • Responsible for ensuring homepages, listings and promotions are optimised for engagement and for driving and maximising sales
  • Using your analytics skills to optimise all online marketplaces

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in selling across multiple online platforms such as Ebay and Amazon (2+ years’ experience)
  • Experience of Growing and Managing a team to grow a successful ecommerce business
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Highly organised and able to manage own workload
  • Commercial acumen, able to understand margins and deal with budgets
  • Motivated and organised
  • A proactive approach with a determination to do what it takes to succeed
  • An attitude to work that provides for flexibility to get the job done
  • Excellent Excel knowledge and skills.
  • Good communications skills - Excellent oral and written English.
  • Proactive, positive and self-motivated team player is required with an entrepreneurial edge who is determined to build and grow a fledgling B2C division.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Proven Experience with e-Commerce platforms is essential
  • Experience in website structure, data feed, SEO & PPC
  • Ecommerce Experience: 2 Years (Required)
  • A sound and technical knowledge of tools and systems used across Market Places

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00 per year
