German Speaking Customer Support Specialist


Salary: £20 000 per annum

We are recruiting for a brilliant ecommerce business in the IT sector, who have a huge presence in Europe. They sell custom computers to Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Poland. They mainly deal with the gaming market, but also sell to other businesses and universities.

They are enjoying great success and are now recruiting for a German speaking customer support specialist.

This is a customer service role, supporting German customers with basic queries, either technical or sales related.

The main tasks in the role

  • Responding to live chat and emails from German customers
  • Taking incoming calls from these customers
  • Dealing with specific problems from these customers
  • Assisting with customer service from UK customers when the German lines are quiet

The ideal candidate

  • Fluent/business level speaker of German
  • Customer focused – enjoys helping customers
  • Any experience with computers would be ideal but not essential
  • However an interest in working amongst computers is essential
  • Inquisitive and able to work with initiative
  • This would suit anyone with a mature outlook. If you want to change career into customer service, maybe from a more stressful job, you would really enjoy this

Working hours

  • 7.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday
