The successful person will be responsible for:
Manage the cross government monthly approvals and assurance pipeline meeting ensuring project materials are prepared in a timely and robust manner and lessons learned are widely disseminated.
Manage the development of the assurance tracker for projects and programmes which need government approval, ensuring it is up to date, is an effective reporting tool for managing the flow of projects through the assurance and approvals process.
Using the assurance tracker to provide intelligence accessible to project teams, government stakeholders, and senior colleagues.
Manage the progression of above delegation business case approvals through MHCLG and HMT.
Deliver assurance initiatives that support an improved and collaborative way of working between Homes England and government.
In order to complete the responsibilities for this role, the successful candidate will have:
Degree level (or equivalent). A qualification in economics, accounting, business studies or property development would be particularly useful.
Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
Highly numerical with skills in data, excel or similar software.
The ability to prioritise work and provide high quality outputs and work to tight deadlines.
Experience in supporting the development of new processes and procedures and embedding these successfully.
Embrace a collaborative approach, working in a multi-disciplinary way with internal and external colleagues to achieve organisational objectives
Experience of working in a project management environment
