Are you a social-media and email marketing specialist with a strong commercial sensibility? Are you comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels to proactively generate great ideas for social media and email campaigns?

We are currently looking to recruit a Marketing Executive – Social Media & email Campaigns to work with key stakeholders in the Specialist Markets business to implement and drive the agreed business strategy for the brand, products and market you are responsible for. This role can be based from areas local to Warrington, Sheffield, Liverpool or Manchester, with a requirement to be in the Warrington office with the team from time to time.

What does the role involve?

As Marketing Executive – Social Media & email Campaigns, you will deliver highly targeted Social Media & email Marketing Campaigns across our Specialist Markets business, which includes multiple brands and industrial sectors within the construction industry. You’ll work closely with key Stakeholders, providing them with actionable data from both Social Media and email Marketing Campaigns, working to agreed Service Level Agreements to achieve the commercial objectives of each business/brand. You will utilise several social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to promote and build awareness of our brands and products.

In addition, you’ll support the Marketing Project Manager with a wide range of additional activities including web content creation, feature writing, internal comms and advertising. You’ll be expected to analyse market data, manage external agencies when required and ensure timely delivery of activities in line with strategy.

The successful candidate will require:

• Experience of broadcasting on Social Media platforms, especially LinkedIn and Facebook
• Email Marketing experience using Campaign Monitor, Mail Chimp or similar
• Strong Stakeholder Management skills and the ability to use data or other measurables to demonstrate the success of a piece of marketing, e.g. Google Analytics
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Strong literacy skills with the ability to write content at a high level in clear, competent and persuasive English
• Good numeracy and IT Skills – Adobe Creative Suite experience would be advantageous
• A positive, upbeat, chatty and confident personality, with pragmatic problem-solving skills and the ability to think rationally under tight deadlines and multiple project responsibility
• Experience of outsourcing marketing work to agencies and other third parties
