Job Description :

Weatherbys Bank is looking to recruit a Banking Administrator to join the Operations department, providing exemplary standards of customer service and friendly, professional assistance to a wide range of internal clients and assist other areas of the bank when required. This will include operating the document management system to achieve the banks business objective of providing an effective document management service. The role could include a variety of bank tasks to meet changing business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To ensure bank correspondence is correctly completed within the set time limits.
  • To ensure all individual responsibilities are completed in accordance with bank processes and procedures.
  • To complete and be flexible about all assigned operational tasks and ensure all confidential correspondence is securely filed away prior to departure at the end of the day.
  • To work accurately and efficiently, ensuring that attention to detail is given.
  • To ensure that adequate telephone cover is maintained at all times and that any queries taken are dealt with or passed on correctly and within the timescales laid down by the company policy.
  • To deal with any calls in a friendly, knowledgeable and professional manner.
  • To assist with cover during times of absence or staff shortage.
  • Take responsibility for contributing to the success of the team by being willing to assist with other tasks when necessary as directed by Line Manager.
  • To attend training sessions and take responsibility for Continuous Professional Development.
  • Adhere to the following team player guidelines at all times:

    • Offer solutions to team problems; not complaints
    • Support team members’ ideas & suggestions
    • Offer to assist others when time is available
    • Make positive comments about team members
    • Ask for others ideas & demonstrate consideration of others as important team members

      • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
      • Flexibility and initiative
      • Strong literacy, numeracy and PC skills
      • Accuracy and attention to detail
      • Interest in horseracing and knowledge of banking procedures advantageous
      • A-levels or equivalent experience
