Minimum qualifications:
  • Experience with mobile user experience (UX) and website conversions (CRO).
    • Experience in consultative sales, with client-facing responsibility.
      • Ability to speak and write in English fluently. Preferred qualifications:
        • Experience in product management and working with large and complex organizations across different levels and cross-functional stakeholders.
          • Experience with diagnosing and improving mobile website load speed.
            • Knowledge of mobile web development and next generation web technologies like Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
              • Ability to influence in regards to mobile and to facilitate tangible impact for large corporate organizations.
                • Ability to tie optimizations of digital assets to commercial and organizational improvement. About the job

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

                  As a BetterWeb Performance Specialist, you will provide a consultative service to our advertisers to improve their mobile websites and increase their advertising efficiency. You will anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's clients, and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. You will also work alongside Google’s teams to align projects and deliverables with Customer Business Objectives. You will also look to shift our support to partner-first, ensuring Google Marketing Platform certified partners are involved in relevant engagements and able to transition projects.

                  In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to our clients’ product management team. You will analyze customers' mobile sites and applications, identify areas for improvement, provide UX recommendations for A/B testing, and support customers as they optimize their assets. You will help businesses adopt a testing culture and leverage data to create better user experiences for the customers and drive more conversions.

                  Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

                  Responsibilities
                  • Develop UK market specific strategy and tactics (for UX and Speed) that can be scaled through teams, monitoring implementation rates and adjusting execution as needed.
                    • Land the BetterWeb story and ensure that customers are maximizing the value of automation, particularly on value based bidding, through mobile user experience.
                      • Ensure that clients remain engaged and follow-up on their commitments to implement work delivered by certified partners or our technical teams.
                        • Be a key contributor to the BetterWeb community and an advocate of the UK market and share best practices and strategy.
                          • Find the right stakeholders in client organizations and lead pitches jointly with Industry Managers to gain buy-in and facilitate progress faster on improving mobile experiences with the help of existing partners, certified partners, or technical teams.
