My client based in Whiteley is looking for Cyber Security Engineers who want to step up and develop their careers.

Working alongside the high calibre cyber security and engineering teams to produce new, exciting and robust managed solutions. You will also be required to work with and communicate with customers to help serve and aid in their needs.

The position is paying £40,000 to £45,000 for the right person, it will be a hybrid role with travel to site when applicable so being in the Hampshire area is key.

This is a great opportunity for the right person to influence, build and grow their cyber security career.

Essentials:
  • Understanding of IT systems engineering lifecycle/methodologies (DevOps, incremental, agile,waterfall)
  • Awareness of gaining and maintaining accreditation for sensitive and secure systems
  • Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability understanding CIA framework
  • Hands on experience of security tech (firewalls, mail gateways, load balancers, anti virus, IPS, IDS)
  • Understanding of SIEM systems / Protective Monitoring
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorisation tech (SAML, LDAP, PKI, etc)
  • Vendor Tech Cert would be an advantage (Microsoft, Cisco, etc)
