JOB - Engineering Technician

LOCATION - West Sussex

TERM- Permanent

SHIFT PATTERN - 4 on 4 off, 6am - 6pm

SALARY - £34,000 - £38,000, dependent on experience

My client is an engineering company that designs and manufactures products for UK and global customers. They are looking for an Engineering Technician to join their team in West Sussex on a permanent basis.

The Engineering Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
  • NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar ideally in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar
    • Experienced working in a Manufacture environment
    • Confident with the fault-finding and repair of electrical systems
    • Cabinet wiring expertise would be beneficial
    • Able to work safely and methodically
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Be a team player with a positive attitude The Engineering Technician role will involve:
      • Working in a team to improve and maintain manufacturing machinery
      • Maintenance, repair and validation
      • Monitoring and improving electrical systems
      • Working to technical drawings and wiring diagrams
