Minimum qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a Finance, Macroeconomics, Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent pratical experience
  • Experience in data analytics, program management, and/or management of products, programs, and/or processes Preferred qualifications:
    • Experience working with physical or information security concepts, and/or organizational resilience management initiatives
    • Experience in other programming or scripting languages for data visualisation
    • Experience using Google Workspace or a similar suite of productivity tools
    • Knowledge of physical data modeling and data architecture About the job

      As a Global Threat Data Analyst, you will work with leads and cross-functional teams to help drive program analytics and contribute to the sustainability of Google’s core business resilience programs. You will research, analyze data, and report help to Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) to analyze the effectiveness of our security and resilience programs. In this role, you will use data to inform decisions, measure success, ensure thoughtful and timely tactical execution, and build trust with our partners.

      From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

      Responsibilities
      • Provide research, data analysis, and performance reporting for security and resilience-related disciplines.
      • Be able to articulate concepts, processes, services, social initiatives, and influence at all levels.
      • Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes.
