Job Description :

COCOON is hiring an in-house Graphic Designer to work across all marketing and content collateral. The ideal candidate is digitally-savvy with a strong editorial eye and has the ability and skill to concept visual storytelling within the brand aesthetic. You will be passionate about the fashion, handbag and luxury space, while having an interest in sustainability and the circular economy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Think independently to create new ideas and concepts. Manage creative ideas from concept to execution and release
  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategise for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communication, email newsletters, and marketing materials
  • Design assets for mobile, desktop, email, digital ads, printed collateral and any other assets across all channels
  • Produce, optimise and output final web-ready digital artwork
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout your work
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support and develop creative that coincides with marketing objectives
  • Supporting on shoot briefs for studio and content
  • Manage time wisely to allow for the independent, accurate design and production of multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Creative executions delivered on time, on brand and to budget
  • Develop concepts using relevant software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout
  • Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using a content management system
  • Use trend intelligence and an understanding of the current and historical business and market to design and execute specific classifications
  • Retouch product images where required, working with the Merchandise team to complete work to launch deadline
  • Research and stay ahead off social media design trends for all channels, working with the Social Media team to create engaging still and video assets Requirements
    • 3+ years in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency
    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline or similar professional experience
    • Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
    • Proven experience producing effective creative solutions for a variety of campaigns; both on and offline, with a strong portfolio of work
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Organisational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Have an knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite and similar products
    • Have an understanding and skilled practical use of the HTML5 and CSS3 and JavaScript
    • Be able to demonstrate experience of designing for desktop, tablet and mobile applications
    • Have an understanding of online accessibility standards with a proven ability to apply the principles of those standards to creative design
    • Knowledge of Shopify, PageFly and content management systems a plus
    • Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software a plus
