Job Description :

Randstad have recently partnered with an exciting start up BlockChain gaming company who is now looking to bring on a Head of Data. They are an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution, built to empower digital assets, NFT and blockchain gaming.

They are seeking a company-wide Head of Data to be responsible for developing and governing their data and information strategy in order to drive business decisions and growth. You will develop data procedures and policies, and work closely with various departments to collect, prepare, organize, protect, and analyze data assets while ensuring that the company meets industry best practices.

Other duties will include leading inter-disciplinary teams, improving and streamlining data systems within the company, and driving innovation. A strong background in IT, business, and mathematics is advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Deep understanding of the business and data strategy
-Designing and implementing data strategies and systems
- Lead, motivate, and manage large technical teams
- Oversee the collection, storage, management, quality, and protection of data
- Implement data privacy policies and complying with data protection regulations
- Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of data collection to the leadership team and broader Myria team
- Deep knowledge of relevant applications, big data solutions, and tools

Key Experience:
- Prefer previous experience/knowledge of gaming or blockchain industry (Highly Desirable)
- 5-10 years experience in a senior-level data management role
- Management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Analytically Minded

The role is paying between £150-£220k and as this is a remote first business this position is fully remote. They are willing to consider
