Salary banding for this role is £36,000 - £61,500

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Gaming Native team are responsible for designing and building our iOS and Android mobile applications. We're currently in the process of rewriting our offerings to take advantage of the latest design pratices, features and Apple API's. You'll be joining a talented team of engineers focussing on implementing exciting new features and content whilst ensuring that the code remains scalable, flexible and robust. The roadmap for iOS Native is exciting, extensive and ambitious and you'll be playing an instrumental part in increasing our offerings to the over 300,000 people who currently use the app!

As an iOS Engineer you’ll be:

Working with the latest technologies, to deliver high-quality code and with good unit test coverage.

Ensuring the squad can meet security, regulatory and compliance requirements

Involved in the full delivery process from elaboration and test analysis to the submission to the App Store

Writing well structured, stable and maintainable code

You’re a standout colleague, who works collaboratively to achieve the shared squad goals. You are unafraid to challenge aspects outside your direct remit and passionately champion ‘the right thing’.

You share knowledge with others and are constantly learning and adapting your skills to push yourself and your team further; both in the tech you use and the way you approach work.

HOW YOU'LL DO IT

Collaborating with the Lead Software Engineer, you’ll work closely with other iOS engineers, a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Software Engineer in Test, Test Engineer and a UX Designer to deliver high-quality native features to our customers.

We're looking for passionate iOS Engineers who can demonstrate the following:

Skills in Swift, with additional experience in Objective-C desirable

Experience with UIKit and SpriteKit

Experience using the Xcode IDE

Familiar with the latest iOS SDK

Familiar with using CocoaPods for dependency management

Familiar with GitFlow, and how to squash and rebase to maintain a clean commit history

A keen interest in the latest mobile development trends
