D&D London is a diverse and vibrant collection of 43 restaurants (including one with a Michelin Star) and an award–winning hotel situated in London and beyond. Founded by Des Gunewardena and David Loewi (the D and D in the name) in 2006, the company has rapidly expanded and contains some of London’s most iconic restaurants, such as Bluebird, Le Pont de la Tour, Sartoria, German Gymnasium and 14 Hills. Outside London the company has made their mark by opening Crafthouse, Angelica, Issho and East 59th in Leeds, 20 Stories in Manchester and Klosterhaus in Bristol.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead and develop the marketing strategy for a specific collection of the D&D London restaurants. This includes outreach plans to increase sales and awareness of the brands. The focus needs to be on wider revenue generating initiatives that will drive sales, brand awareness and press, which will work in line with restaurant budgets and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creative marketing and press initiatives and campaigns working closely with the Head of Marketing, central team and external PR agencies
  • Proactive outreach to local businesses, relevant corporates, residents and local markets to develop the businesses core
  • Weekly and monthly review and measurement of marketing initiatives calculating potential ROI against budget
  • Develop key partners and innovative collaborations for the businesses in order to acquire new audiences and drive press
  • Manage and oversee the restaurants’ digital strategy working with the central digital team. This would include search advertising, social media and targeting, pro-active database development in association with the CRM team
  • Oversee and review all online aspects of the brands from websites, to 3rd party partners’ listings online and offline
  • Directing photo shoots and ensuring that there is up to date imagery of the restaurant in all marketing information
  • Ensuring promotions and activities are communicated across all departments within restaurants particularly reservations and reception
  • Coordinating any promotional menus with the Executive Chef / F&B team
  • Manage restaurant PR agencies with support from Head of Marketing, ensuring they are delivering on KPIs and presenting creative ideas for the restaurant Key Requirements:
    • Communication and analytical skills combined with creative sensibilities
    • Great attention to detail
    • Experience with managing PR agencies for a brand
    • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
    • CRM & CMS experience useful
