Property Fund Accounting Manager

Job Description :

Are you a qualified accountant with property fund accounting experience and looking for a new challenge in a very successful investment manager? My client is looking for an individual with the aforementioned skill set to join their finance team, based in the City of London.

You will be responsible for:
- Oversight of accounting and financial control for a number of UK property funds
- Reviewing of financial statements produced by the team and managing the fund audits
- Monitoring fund pricing on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Providing cash flow forecasts for Fund Managers
- Attending board and audit committee meetings
- Working with external advisors on reviewing the financial accounting treatments for new transactions
- Managing a team of Fund Accountants including reviewing work and conducting appraisals

To be considered for this role you must have:
- An accountancy qualification with experience of property fund financial accounting (IFRS/FRS102).
- Previous team management/supervisory experience.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- The ability to be flexible and take a proactive approach to problem solving and working well with the larger team.
- Knowledge of Yardi Voyager would be beneficial but not essential.
