Teaching Assistant + Potential Teacher Training (Secondary School)

Location: Slough

Start Date: ASAP or September 2022

Salary: £70-£80 per day.

An amazing opportunity has arisen at a prestigious Secondary School based in Slough. The school are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support KS3 - KS5 students with the possibility of Teacher Training provision. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring teacher to kick-start their career in education or for an experienced teaching assistant to take the next step towards being a teacher.

A graduate with previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring, helping within a nursery, in a sport setting or in a similar classroom setting etc. The role will begin ASAP or September 2022.

This role also contains options to further develop within the education industry with Teacher Training available.

  • Teacher training prospect The Secondary School in Slough are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants who are energetic and passionate about their input into a child's education. The candidates appointed will be supporting KS3 - KS5 and the Teaching Assistant's primary role will be to ensure each child is fulfilling the learning objective for each lesson.

    The ideal candidate will be able to commit for the full academic year and the expected salary will be from £70-80 per day. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Teacher to expand their classroom experience prior to undertaking their teacher training and becoming a fully qualified classroom teacher.

    There are also extensive opportunities to support children with Special Educational Needs if this was something the candidate was interested in or passionate about.
