You will join a dedicated team of academic staff who support the BA (Hons) Photography and MA Photography courses with their award-winning students. The focus of the courses is personal professional creativity in which students create aspirational photography they are passionate about, combined with an excellent understanding of the potential industry contexts for their work. The course is forward facing and engages students with opportunities for photographic practice expanding and interacting with new technologies and other creative fields.
You will be a strong team player with excellent organisational and management skills and have existing experience of degree-level learning and teaching and be able to demonstrate innovative strategies for curriculum delivery and development including on-line materials and blended learning. You will have excellent industry credentials and will be strongly committed to student employability. Your practical expertise will be complemented by an enthusiasm for contemporary media culture and an interest in supporting contextual study.
Candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of contemporary photographic practices related to high end professional photography and a demonstrable capacity to provide expert support to students in the areas of digital photography in relation to advertising, editorial and/or fashion with experience of CGI and/or moving image and desirably experience of different forms of XR.
