Senior Planner/ Planner

My client is a top contractor, known for its exciting, complex and rewarding projects
across a wide range of the projects in the civils, nucleae and rail sector. A company that has an eye for progression as
well as a goal to benefit communities with every project they get involved with, it's an
exciting time to get involved.
The Role
We are looking for a Planner to be involved in the planning process of all sorts of large
construction projects across Scotland. The role will involve:
● The development of any strategies to ensure best practice, both through bidding as
well as the construction process, with all necessary reporting
● Providing support to the bidding team throughout the process to make sure possible
commercial constraints are recognised and accounted for
● Assist and help present and client facing presentations or meetings
● Coordinate with the Project Management team to prepare delay analyses and reports
● Ensure the planning functions are in line with any regional legislations and their
changes
The ideal candidate for my client would have all of, or a majority of, these qualifications and
experience:
● Experience in a Planning role or beginning stages of project management in the
construction industry
● Analytical mindset, with the ability to review, develop and process to show best
practice for both the company and the industry
● Knowledge of the design, commercial and procurement processes and how they will
affect the planning processes
