Location- Newport

Rate of Pay - £10-14/hr.

Skills & Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will establish contact with young people aged 16-19 years old using a variety of methods to engage them in educational programmes, services & activities.
  • You will lead & manage a team of tutors delivering on an education programme in partnership with the other training providers & High Schools. This will involve the design, implementation and delivery of an education curriculum in line with JGW+ programme specification.
  • Supporting teachers to set up exciting and innovative lessons.
  • Working on whole class, or 1-2-1 basis with children.
  • Supporting children to learn both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Identify learning gaps and help create bespoke intervention programmes for pupils.
  • Developing and delivering engaging sessions with clear learning objectives, considering any barriers to learning or additional needs.
  • Delivering measurable outcomes from each session to track progress.
